Update your iTunes automatically – Launch iTunes on your computer and go to the tools bar, click the help and select Check for Updates. If there is an update available, iTunes will guide you to install the update and you just need to follow the instructions given.

Update your iTunes manually – You need to download the latest iTunes from Apple website. After download completed, run the iTunes setup installer and follow the instructions given.

Please note that whenever you’re updating your iTunes, please remember to disconnect your iPhone from your computer. The iTunes update installation will never be completed if it detected any Apple device is still connected to your computer.
