In order to purchase or download the iPhone applications from Appstore, you need to have an iTunes account. You can create a new account either on your iPhone or iTunes on your computer and you need to provide your home address for billing purposes and credit card information for paying the applications you purchased.
Create account on Apple iPhone – With iPhone firmware 3.0 and above, you can create a new iTunes account on your iPhone. You can go to Settings, Store and tap on Create New Account. Then, just follow the instructions given to complete the registration.
Create account on iTunes – Alternatively, you can create iTunes account on your computer through iTunes, which I think is easier compare to create the account on Apple iPhone. On iTunes menu bar, go to Store and click Create Account and follow the screen instruction to complete the registration.
After your iTunes account has been created, you’ll be automatically logon to iTunes store on your computer or Appstore on your iPhone. You can start to browse and install iPhone applications and remember to logout your iTunes account whenever you’ve completed the purchase.
