4 Tips to Resell your iPhone 2G at A Higher Price

iPhone 2G (original iPhone) was released on June 29, 2007 and it’s more than 2 years old. I believe that you had paid a lot to get it since it’s only available in US at that time. And due to the high demand on Apple iPhone, it was then available in more countries when Apple had released the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. If you wish to sell your iPhone 2G for upgrading to iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS, there is 4 tips to resell your iPhone 2G at a higher price and I’ve listed them below.

The iPhone is Unlocked

The iPhone by default is locked to Apple’s authorized network carrier (AT & T) and when a non-AT & T sim card is inserted, the iPhone could not make or receive any call. When you’re selling, make sure the iPhone is unlocked to allow all network carrier sim cards are usable.

3rd Party Apps Ability

The iPhone has limited apps installed and with 3rd party apps, the iPhone will have more capability such as customizing the layout, tweaking the settings and adding more ringtones. Make sure the iPhone is jailbroken to have the ability to install 3rd party applications.

7 Days Warranty

You can give 7 days or more personal warranty to your buyer such as software warranty, who will feel more secured and guaranteed for the price he/she has paid.

Useful Tips & Tricks

After you have successfully sold the iPhone, you may want to show him/her some useful tips and tricks on using the iPhone. Or recommend the iPhone website, blog or community forum you have visited, subscribed or registered.

Sell your chargers with the phone. Most older chargers will not work with the 3G or 3GS.

Hi Russell,

That’s good idea. Maybe we can also include the casing for it if any.
