How often do you restart your iPhone? Did you shutdown your iPhone in a proper manner? Well, the proper way of turning off the iPhone is by holding the sleep/wake button when it’s on sleep mode (black screen) and then slide the bar to turn off. It is a good practice if you wish to restart (known as soft reset) your iPhone. All of the applications or games are totally closed or quit when the iPhone is on sleep mode. It’ll speed up the booting time on the next start up. It’s advised to restart your iPhone at least once a day to keep the iPhone in a good performance and minimize the probability of the iPhone hangs.

I believe that you came across where your iPhone hangs when you’re using it. I also experienced that when playing games or surfing the Internet especially a webpage with full of the pictures. It suddenly just hangs there and the screen is not sensible to any of your finger’s touch and scroll. The hard reset of the iPhone is the only solution, hold home and sleep/wake button together and release both of them when the Apple logo appears on the screen. And your iPhone may takes a longer time to start up. So, next time when your iPhone hangs, don’t panic and just do a hard reset.
